The pastors gathered in Mexico for biblical and pastoral ministry. Pastor Seok-Jeon hosted a three-day pastors’ seminar and a three-day laypersons conference in Mexico, hosted by the Mexican Christian Pastors Association. The organizer's official statistics is some 27,000 people. Organizers say that there has not been such a precedent event in Mexican Christian history. Pastor Seok-Jeon Yoon gave a sermon on "Repentance," that was filled with the Holy Spirit. A conference with Pastor Seok-Jeon Yoon was held on April 26th (Sat.) ~ 28th (Sat.) by the Association of Christian Pastors in Mexico; three times for the pastors’ seminar, and three times for the laypersons’ conference. The events took place at Centro Cristiano Cuernavaca, the largest church in Mexico with more than 8,000 seats. An average of 3,000 pastors’ couples (more than 10,000 man-days) and 6,000 laypersons participated. The Christian population in Mexico is only of 6.5%, so it is difficult to gather 1,000 pastors. Gathering 3,000 pastors from all over Mexico in the conference with Pastor Seok-Jeon Yoon was an unprecedented event in the history of Mexican Christianity and was a very sensational event all Mexican churches. Pastor Hakobo of the Centro Cristiano Cuernavaca that held this conference, who is also the president of the Mexico Christian Pastors Association managed to invite more than 1,000 pastors who belong to this Association. There came also about 1,000 pastors from Pentecostal Churches, and the Association of Pentecostal Church Pastors invited more than 3,000. Pastor Hakobo expressed his feeling about the Holy Spirit’s work in the conference.

Hakobo, the Senior Pastor of Centro Cristiano Cuernavaca, the largest church in Mexico with about 30,000 registered members, is earnestly worshipping the Lord in the conference.


The first spiritual seminar in which even pastors were overwhelmed
We are in a time when even pastors who have to preach the true Word of God do not preach from the Bible. At this time, the invitation of pastor Seok-Jeon Yoon was a valuable opportunity for Mexican pastors to repent. A seminar for pastors was often held in Mexico, but there is no pastor who had ever preached the message of Bible the way Pastor Yoon did. I heard the sermon, “Pastor, repent,” “Live as you are told,” and “You should be holy.” All the pastors who participated knelt down. They thoroughly repented that they had not done the pastoral ministry according to the Word of God and they also repented that they had not led their faith life well. I also knelt down after hearing the Word of God. Thousands of pastors who attended the seminar realized exactly what the Lord wants. The Mexican pastors who were influenced by the American church’s liberalism and secularism did not know what is ‘doing good’ in the meantime. We had been thinking that philanthropic work towards the needy is enough. When I heard the sermon from Pastor Yoon this time, I immediately realized that what Jesus did in the Bible was truly a good thing. We have to preach the Jesus who died to save every soul that was heading to hell because of sin, through the shedding of His blood on the cross, telling people to live according to the Word of God. I am sure that the gospel of the blood of Jesus will spread throughout Mexico with this conference momentum.

Beyond Preaching to the Newly Converted Christians, Great Spiritual Awakening Began
Previously, the conferences held in Mexico had gathered between 2,000 and 3,000 pastors and laypersons. It was rather than preaching in depth to the Bible, but only preaching focused on beginner Christians to evangelize. The Pastors’ seminar with Pastor Yoon was the largest conference with over 3,000 pastors from all over Mexico. Participants came from all denominations such as the Baptist denomination, Pentecostal churches, and others. Fifty churches affiliated with the Mexican Evangelization Network were contacted through social media and were announced the conference with pastor Seok-Jeon Yoon. They encouraged the surrounding churches to attend the conference. Pentecostal Churches in Mexico City also joined and encouraged the churches in their denomination to attend the Conference, and many pastors came and received great grace. There was a great spiritual impact. The pastors who attended the conference realized the importance of prayer. They were particularly challenged by the “crying out” prayer. If we pray, great revival will follow. 

I also decided to do my pastoral ministry with prayer and applied the power of prayer to my pastoral ministry. I learned how to pray crying out ‘Lord’ three times during the pastors’ seminar in Hindolsan Retreat Center in Korea, when I cried out, “Señor, Señor, Señor” and prayed. I pray more and cry enthusiastically to win the fight against the devil. I want to keep listening to the original gospel of Jesus that will lead my pastoral life. When I was praying to bless Pastor Yoon and the conference team before departure, my heart was overflowing with joy. “Thank you Jesus for sharing your flesh and blood with the whole world. I am grateful to Pastor Yoon’s ministry and the mission of the saints of Yonsei Central Baptist Church. I pray that the grace of the Lord be with you. May the Lord give more spiritual power to Pastor Yoon and blessing to those who are faithful.” I give thanks, praise, and glory to the Lord who has done all these things.

On April 26 (Thu.) - 29 (Sun.), Centro Cristiano Cuernavaca in Mexico with Pastor Yoon broadcasted the conference live through Facebook. The last Sunday worship had over 14,000 viewers. Three pastors’ seminars and three laypersons’ conference recorded an average of 6,000-7,000 viewers, and a total of 50,000 people watched the conference. On Facebook, foreign viewers commented from seven countries, not just Mexico, but the United States, Brazil, Argentina, Spain and Greece. The lump of cancer of thyroid gland is gone

I had cancer of thyroid gland. It put pressure on my throat that I could not speak properly and could not shout. But on the evening of the first day of the conference, God healed her. The tumor had disappeared. Now I can shout as I want. I can raise my voice to praise the Lord.

The tumor of stomach cancer disappeared and the doctor was surprised

I suffered from gastric cancer. But I came to the conference and repented. I was convinced that God would heal me. On the second day of the conference, I went to the hospital the doctor said, “I cannot find any tumor of gastric cancer.” Hallelujah!

I was eating soil and bricks due to demon possession

I have eaten soil and bricks for three years due to demon possession. I was very ashamed of that. So I did not want to come to this conference. When I was hearing the sermon for the first time, I was still eating bricks but the demons that led me eating bricks left me. God also healed me from alcoholism.

"After the conference with Pastor Yoon, I am preaching to 3,000 members of our church during the Sunday service about 'sin,' 'repentance,' and 'atonement grace through the work of the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross.' We have also initiated a spiritual program called 'Prayer' in our church rather than a continuing with a secular program. When I saw the saints aspiring to pray, our church also had ‘a two-hour prayer meeting'.

Prayer meetings are held from 6:30 to 8:30 pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, and from 6:00 to 8:00 am on Sunday. Then the signs and wonders of the Spirit are manifested in our church. When we pray for healing in the name of Jesus during worship, the Holy Spirit worked and many were healed, the demon-possessed freed. Alejandra Varsenas (38), another church member in our province heard the news that our church members had been healed. He came to our church on Sunday, May 13 and was healed while attending the service. He gave a testimony that he was healed of cancer that had afflicted him for six months.
