20% fulfilled to build 1,000 churches all over the world

“Haitian Pastors and the church members have a wonderful church building, so they have the confidence to evangelize and pray, and are active in their faith lives.

During the short-term mission in Haiti, two lay missionaries visited 39 churches built in Haiti to preach the gospel and to hold 19 camp meetings. 2500 participants attended the meeting.

Among them, the number of people who had decided to believe that Jesus Christ was the Savior who saved us from sin, curse and hell, reached up to 1200 persons.

Achieved 20% of  building 1000 churches
From the establishment of the church until now, i.e. shortly before the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of the church, Yonsei Central Baptist Church has devoted itself to saving souls from going to hell without knowing that there is only Jesus. The church has won the world’s 7.2 billion people and has grown into a praying church.

In 2017, in a conversation with Pastor Seok-Jeon Yoon said, “If our church builds churches all over the world, local pastors will be able to save the local people, even if we can’t go preach the gospel. I believe that church construction is the most important foundation, spreading, and fruit of the world evangelization, and I declare the construction of 1000 churches all over the world in accordance with the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.”

The “Building 1000 Churches in the World” declared by Yonsei Central Baptist Church in 2013 will be completed by 20%. Currently, 142 churches have been completed by the beginning of this year in Haiti in South America, and now 160 churches are almost complete. There is one church in Pakistan, one in Nepal, ten in South Africa, four in India, sixteen in Togo (10 by the Assembly of God and 6 by local missionaries dispatched from Yonsei Central Baptist Church), two in Brazil, and one in K. There are a total of 235 churches planned in each country. The plan is to build 300 churches in Togo and 200 churches in South Africa. In the future, both the Assembly of God and the local missionaries of our church plan to build 50 churches at a time.

Among them, missionary Lee Jong Kook from Yonsei Central Baptist Church to Haiti is carrying out construction with the goal of completion 200 churches in Haiti by May this year. Each church, from No. 1 to No. 100, was built in 5 provinces near the capital city of Port-au-Prince, and each church, from No.101 to No. 200, are being built throughout the country from the western part of Haiti to the north. When the 200 churches are completed, the achievement rate of the 1000 churches that God has commanded to our church will reach almost 23%.





Saving souls were followed after the church construction
The revival of the overseas churches built by Yonsei Central Baptist Church by the touch of the Holy Spirit is truly amazing. Pastors are engaged in evangelism for neighbors with pastors and church members in the background of the church. The church is the newest and finest building in the neighborhood. Church buildings are also used as schools and treatment facilities during the day. In Nepal, they are experiencing a great revival after building a church with the finest, comfortable, and up-to-date facilities. In Orissa state’s Kandhamal district, about 150 members of the Baptist Church, who had worshiped at home since the time of the persecution, are now worshiping out of their homes.

Therefore, the overseas church building ministry is the cause for the salvation history of winning souls with sin from hell. Churches are also active in evangelism during the construction and under construction of churches in the capital, Lome / Northern City, Kara (Togo) and Mafikeng (South Africa).

During Pastors’ Couples Spiritual Seminar in Hindolsan Retreat Center, in order to be supported by the “Building 1000 Churches in the World” declared by Yonsei Central Baptist Church, church leaders of each country around the world hold meetings with Pastor Seok-Jeon Yoon. They have a close and effective consultation with Foreign Mission Board members in Yonsei Central Baptist Church in order to build the churches on optimal conditions with blueprints appropriate to the situation of their own countries.
When pastors want to build a church, they should meet the following requirements. Please ask Foreign Mission Board for Gospel Mission in Yonsei Central Baptist Church.

1)Pastors who have a passion for saving the country and who have already secured the site for the church building.  2) Pastors who can build a church that can hold 200~300 people at less than $ 9,000 (Only material cost is paid by YCBC; the rest of the labor force is provided by the church members.)
